Geoff Ibbett’s Answers to Questions about the RAG Leakage Map at RAG Toronto 2019

Is it possible for multiple people from one operator respond (there may be multiple RA teams)?

Generally, we expect a single response from an operator. In cases where there are multiple RA teams, we may be able to average the responses received from an operator.

How will this Risk map relate or not relate to the TMForum maturity model?

The Risk Map itself does not relate directly to the TMForum Maturity Model. They are two different things. However, whilst there is more to Maturity than just coverage, I think it is possible to infer something about maturity based on the coverage of the threats and their root causes documented in the Risk Map.

Who’s contributing to the map?

Everyone can contribute to the Risk Map! Those who have contributed so far can be found on the Acknowledgements tab of the Risk Map spreadsheet; this can be downloaded from the RAG website.

Is anyone covering all risk map areas?

It is difficult to tell, based on the trial survey so far, but I would expect few, if any, cover all of the Key Risk Areas right now. The industry survey will give us a better understanding.

Do operators who join the benchmark get a leakage score and/or measure?

Yes, they will get a leakage score and a personalised report showing how they perform related to the best, average and worst performing operators within the survey.

Who has contributed to the catalogue already?

Those who have contributed so far can be found on the Acknowledgements tab of the Risk Map spreadsheet; this can be downloaded from the RAG website.
