Kathy Romano is a solutions-oriented financial executive with a passion for improving processes. During the course of her career she has proven her ability to build and lead successful teams in dynamic environments that require innovation, vision and significant change management. Kathy’s experience includes 20+ years of systems and operations expertise across the order to cash process, coupled with the ability to develop long-term strategy and deliver massive game changing multi-year programs. Kathy is adept at responding to rapidly changing conditions and executing creative solutions to achieve results. She is a high-profile influencer who has redefined the norms in multiple industries.
Kathy spent 31 years at Verizon, ultimately rising to the rank of Executive Director with responsibility for billing strategy and governance. Her work for Verizon encompassed many ground-breaking initiatives, such as: leading the efforts to modernise billing; consolidation of staff in fewer locations; improving processes using Lean Six Sigma; introducing settlement processes for video content; designing and implementing the company’s retail revenue assurance program; driving down the number of customers impacted by promotional issues; and reducing the company’s provisioning-billing gap for Digital Subscriber Lines.
Kathy graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in Maths and Business Admin.
