Matthew Gamble is a technologist, innovator and Vice Chair of the Internet Society Canadian Chapter. He has spent his career focusing on disruptive technologies for telecoms and the cloud.
Matthew has over two decades of experience working with Canadian communications providers. He was formerly the Principal Technologist at EGATE Networks Inc., a Toronto based ISP that provides access, cloud, and voice services to enterprise and wholesale partner customers. Before he joined EGATE, Matthew was the Chief Innovation Officer at Thoughtfire Consulting, a Toronto based consultancy created to empower service providers to deliver innovative telephony and cloud solutions. He also worked for many years at Primus Telecommunications.
Matthew is a tireless advocate for a free, open, and affordable internet for all. These values also motivate Matthew to champion the role of smaller communications providers in the telecoms ecosystem. In addition to his service as a Board Member at the Internet Society Canada Chapter, Matthew also spent three years on the Board of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority.
